2024 US Women's Open

Updated: Aug 21

Dr. Lisa Goodman, DC

You NEVER know who you are going to meet volunteering at the US Women’s Open. And actually, you won’t ever know because I can’t tell you. But I can tell you that this week has been the MOST fun. Being part of the USGA Performance and Recovery Team is an incredible honor and privilege. There is nothing like working with players and caddies at the top of their game.

US Women’s Open Caddies are some of the best people you will ever meet. I am beyond thankful to continue to be invited back to treat these folks. Carrying 30-50 pounds of golf equipment up and down hilly courses for 6-8 miles per day is grueling. Our Performance and Recovery Team is available with chiropractic, massage, physical therapy, athletic training, NormaTec compression systems and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. We have everything these athletes need to be at their best. I am grateful for the amazing friends I get to see each year and the new ones I’ve only just met.

The Performance and Recovery Team is a SPECIAL bunch of people. I get to work with colleagues from so many specialties and communities across this great country.

And what can I say about the players? Greatness. Athletes at their peak and benefiting from our elite care, there is nothing like it. I love traveling to be part of this team, seeing the most beautiful towns and golf courses in the country.

But my @washparkchiro family is always home! Enjoy the photos and will be posting more from the US Open at Pinehurst in a few weeks!
