We are all guilty of getting lazy with our posture, especially while sitting at a desk, playing on our phones, eating at the dinner table, etc. While it is easy to do and takes less effort, it can have negative, long-term effects. 

Over time, the muscles in your back can become overly stretched (stretch-weakened) while the chest muscles become shortened (adaptively shortened) causing a more permanent curve forward. This adaptation is commonly known as Upper Cross Syndrome. 

In order to avoid this, it is important to work on opening up your chest by being aware of your posture, performing stretches, and getting regular massage. The Chest Opener massage works by stimulating the back muscles using shorter, more focused strokes and vibrational techniques and lengthening the chest muscles with longer strokes, incorporating Thai stretches and compression to encourage the muscles back to a healthy place.
