Dr. Kati Schwabe, DC

Dr. Kati Schwabe knew from a very young age that she wanted to do something in the world that would help people to live better.  In fact, her first hint at Chiropractic may have come from walking on her dad’s back when she was just a child.  After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a Biology degree focused on Human Anatomy and Physiology, she moved to Seattle to pursue a career in Massage Therapy and then moved her practice to the mountains of Colorado.  Later, Dr. Schwabe graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, CA, where she was an active participant on campus, an all too familiar fixture in the library, a Campus Guide, and member of the Palmer West Sports Council.  The PCCW Sports Council has become the model for Chiropractic sports councils across the nation and allowed her invaluable on-field experience with amateur and professional athletes at such events as the National Senior Games – Stanford University, Sea Otter Classic cycling event – Monterey, and the US Half Marathon – San Francisco, among others.

As a former college rugby player and someone who loves to get outside whether it be snowboarding, mountain biking, or just enjoying Wash Park, she understands how important it is to keep you out moving and doing what you love.  Her background in Massage Therapy adds a unique ability to read the body and integrate soft tissue work into your care.

Dr. Schwabe lives in West Washington Park and loves being part of such an active community.   She states, “I love that every day I get to contribute to the health, wellness, and happiness of this community!”
